The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2019. TENP processes personal data for admissions, registration, teaching, examinations, library services, industrial attachment, graduation, accommodation, ICT services, security, finance, research, alumni services and legal compliance. Processing is based on consent, legal obligation, contractual necessity, public interest or other lawful grounds.
4. Access to Your Personal Data
You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information or other rights provided under the Data Protection Act, subject to applicable law.
5. How We Use Your Personal Data
Information is used to deliver education and training services, communicate with students, process fees and scholarships, issue transcripts and certificates, manage employment, improve services and comply with legal obligations.

You have the right to be informed, access your data, request correction, object where applicable, request deletion where legally permissible and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
7. Data Sharing
TENP may share personal data with government agencies, examination bodies, accrediting institutions, financial sponsors, service providers and other parties where required by law or with your consent.
8. Protection of Personal Data
TENP implements administrative, technical and physical safeguards including authentication, access controls, encryption where appropriate, backups and staff confidentiality obligations.
9. Retention of Personal Data
Records are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil educational, legal and regulatory requirements and are securely disposed of when no longer required.
