TENP invites KCSE graduates, holders of certificates, and Diplomas to pursue studies leading to Certificates, Diplomas and Higher Diploma qualifications in the respective areas of study. Application for admission does not guarantee admission into the polytechnic for course applied for, this will be subject to fulfillment of all requirements and class size as approved by the Polytechnic. If you get a congratulatory message from KUCCPS, please wait as we upload the admission letters which you can download online together with joining instructions which you must fill before you come to get registered into the System.

Application Procedure

TENP strives to admit those applicants who are best prepared to benefit from and contribute to our academic community. Admission specialists will review your application and supporting documentation carefully to assess your overall academic preparation. In evaluating your application, the polytechnic will consider the following factors: Mean Grade scores achieved in High School, The strength of your high school course work Grades earned in core subjects depending on the specific programmes in which you are interested and Additional information you provided in support of your application. Before you apply for admission at TENP, you are encouraged to carefully consider the various certificate,diploma and Higher Diploma programmes available and to meet with an adviser and when you decide TENP is the place you want to be. Admission to TENP is on a first come first serve basis so be sure to complete your application early.

      Prospective students shall apply for the courses of their choice by completing the application coupon. The coupon is available alongside, in the newspaper that carries the advertisement, at the Admissions Office in the Main Campus OR alternatively download an application form. Click hereto Download.The completed coupon should be returned to the main campus or mailed to eldopolyadmissions@gmail.com,accompanied by copies of Relevant ACADEMIC CERTIFICATES, ID CARD and a bank deposit slip of NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE of Kshs 750/= Paid through Mpesa paybill number 304250 and should be addressed to the PRINCIPAL, THE ELDORET NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC.

  3. Selection

    The Registrar selects the applicants who meet the stipulated entry requirements. The successful applicants will be notified through the addresses they shall have provided (Postal Phone and E-mail).The unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.

  4. Registration

    The successful applicants will be required to formally register for the programmes for which they have been called, upon receipt of the calling letter.This is upon payment of the statutory fees and the tuition fees. The deadline for registration will be indicated.

Continuing Students

Should I complete the TENP Application for Admission? If you have applied and taken at least one course at TENP, you do not need to submit a new application.You can update your information at the Admissions and Records Office.The purpose of Registration is to confirm or amend the information already held on your personal academic records and demonstrate your intention to continue your studies.Registration is also required for you to ensure that you put arrangements in place for payment of your fees.It is the polytechnic's regulation that all students are required to register termly, prior to their start date.

Continuing students are not required to complete an application if you were enrolled in classes within the past term. You may proceed directly to registration by reporting your respective departments. However, you are not considered a continuing student if you applied in an intake and did not enroll. For instance, if you applied for the September intake and did not enroll you are not considered a continuing student and must apply as a new student.
